Richard has worked extensively in senior management positions within operational facilities and EPC project delivery for over 20 years, with experience in design, manufacture and commissioning. He is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and a registered Chartership Mentor and Interviewer for Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). As MD of ReNew ELP, Richard drives business performance and sits on the Board of Directors.
Dr Geoff Brighty
Dr Geoff Brighty is a sustainability expert with a career spanning 30 years in the environmental protection and regulation sector. A published research scientist with a PhD in fish reproduction and aquaculture, he has over 20 environmental pollution and flood risk publications. Geoff brings a wealth of experience and influence within issues including flooding, water quality and climate change adaptation for Governments.
Bill has 40 years’ of experience as a Chartered Chemical Engineer, working across coal products, power generation, energy from waste, biomass and fossil fuel. Bill worked extensively on upscaling the Licella pilot plant in New South Wales, Australia to commercial scale, and continues to provide engineering expertise as the ReNew ELP project moves through development and design, towards construction and completion.
Steve has over 22 years’ extensive international experience, working across the water, power, nuclear and chemical industries. A Chartered Chemical Engineer, Steve has held management positions in process engineering, commissioning and project management, and now as Technical Manager for ReNew ELP, he leads internal engineering resource and development at our Wilton plant, as we move towards site build and completion.
Regulatory Compliance Consultant
Rosie holds a Masters degree in Geology, and has ten years’ experience in environmental and process safety consulting, planning and permitting for local and international developments including process, power generation and renewables. She is responsible for gaining planning and permitting approvals and for regulatory compliance for the ReNew ELP site, allowing the project to proceed to timeline and plan.
Commercial Contracts Manager
Chris has worked in waste management and recycling since 2002 in a variety of commercial and operational roles. Initially working as a Commercial Manager with a regional waste management contractor, winning and managing disposal and recycling contracts with local authorities, Chris has since built a wealth of experience in the industry through key positions with Wincanton, Yorwaste and BPI Recycling.
Principal Electrical Engineer
With over 30 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation disciplines, Rob has worked across the steel, biofuel, energy from waste and chemical process industries. A graduate of The Open University and registered as an Incorporated Engineer with The Institute of Engineering & Technology, Rob has extensive knowledge of electrical distribution systems, site utility connections and plant process control.
Gordon is a Mechanical & Maintenance Engineer with more than 45 years’ experience in the petrochemical industry. Gordon will be taking the project lead on design and installation of the material handling plant and the provision of specialist engineering support for the development of risk based inspections, written schemes of examination and codal compliance for the high pressure systems within the facility.
Kim brings over 10 years’ experience in Marketing and Design to the ReNew ELP team, with a background in designing multi-channel, responsive campaigns across multiple markets including Education, Industry and Automotive. Her role will see her heading up the creation of all marketing content, whilst developing campaigns, strategy and communication, including representing ReNew ELP at industry-led conferences.
